Job Description: 
• We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead the
day to day supervision and effective running of the housekeeping team and department. In this
hands-on role you will look to drive the productivity, motivation and development of all
housekeeping team members, whilst ensuring high standards and company guidelines are
maintained.
• Prior experience in a senior housekeeping position ideally within a 4 star hotel will assist you in
securing this role. Critical to your success will be an in depth knowledge of housekeeping
services, including a solid understanding of effective cleaning methods, equipment, chemical
use, and manual handling techniques.
• Your demonstrable knowledge of rostering and scheduling, along with extensive experience in
staff management, are essential to your success.
• Must be available for any hours or weekends.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise & coordinate work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, and attractive
rooms in the hotel.
• Assign duties, inspect work and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and
equipment and take corrective action.
• May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment if needed, take periodic inventories,
train new employees and recommend dismissals.
• Will be assigned work duties up to and including making beds, cleaning rooms etc.
• All hotel personal are trained in each area of the hotel to be efficient that can be used in
many different areas.
• May be able to do cleaning and duties assigned by the employer.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:
• A meticulous attention to detail is a characteristic that hotel housekeepers must have.
• They must be able to understand and follow instructions and put tasks in order. These hotel
workers need good interpersonal skills to get along well with supervisors and guests they
serve.
• A friendly manner and a willingness to assist others to make them an asset to the hotel.
• Must be pleasant, smiling, happy individual who takes pride in his/her work. Works well as a
member of a team or independently.
• Must be able to speak fluently in French and English (Bilingual)

Testing
IELTS – maximum overall score of 5.
